On board, guests will experience travel in complete comfort combined with unparalleled personal attention, in either Platinum or Gold Service. Sumptuous meals are included, served en route in our Queen Adelaide Restaurant. Select Australian wines are complimentary with lunches and dinners.

Each journey incorporates a series of wayside stops and off train excursions visiting some of Australia’s most sought out destinations, both on and off the beaten track. These exclusive tours are designed so you can pause and savour the essence of Australia as The Southern Spirit winds its way through a rich tapestry of landscapes. All meals on excursions are included. To add to your enjoyment, guest presenters offer informative commentary on the regions travelled, covering topics such as history, astronomy, culture, food and wine.

We offer two different journeys on The Southern Spirit in 2010, its second season, starting with ‘The Grand Tour’ departing from the heart of Australia’s Red Centre, Uluru (Ayers Rock) on 9 January, 2010. Followed by 'The Coastal Classic', departing Brisbane for Uluru (Ayers Rock) on 24 January to 6 February 2010.
